BTW, if you're buying a "modded" one, it's not from MS (or if it is the warranty is no longer valid). You might as well buy a 20 GB one and just open it, and replace it with a laptop hard drive.

Lol, Im not even that stupid, You would have to run some program preloaded on it to at least think all of that was possible silly :P
You can get a flashed disk drive which enables you to download games and put them on disks that the disk drive will now be able to read. But I've never heard of a modded hard drive.
Dude, if your trying to install a CFW on your xbox...dont log into xbox live. Youll be banned forever.
Hacking game on xbox360=fail. Its not worth it.

You won't be banned if you log on with a modded Xbox. Only if you are ignorant and you download and play games on xbox live that are not released yet. You just have to be careful about what you do. Try not to game save excessively as it will also lead to suspicion. Bridging will also get you in trouble (although it is not technically modding, someone may report you which may lead to further investigation from MS).
