It pissed me off,like really.he took a god damn nap e.e.I mean,i liked it,it was good,but it still pissed me off.Then,it took forever to go from 30-50,but only like 2 seconds to go from 50-70.Anyways,so they stay there,not dying.

Marathon and Halo have the same basic flow, and by that I mean the ending of Halo 3 and the beginning of Marathon. Of course completely different Spartans and armors, also the Pfhor are similar to the Covenant, as well the Flood are related to the W'rkncacnter. So yeah they could be the same, admittedly not impossible more improvable. Of course since Humanity get wiped out and not just humanity... it could be the descendent's of the original humans which explains mythological similarities, however this is my own theory, I found a possible time line a while back that provides a opposite theory but since I have forgot it... and don't have access to my computer I can't show you the time line.

Marathon stated they were 10 and made no reference to any others, where Halo had 100's, admittedly didn't go so well... but their armor is out of date. something about mark 4 and master chief's was also at mark 4 in the first Halo despite some unfathomable time skips(this discrepancy leads me to believe some kind of faster than light travel mishap or something because chronologically it had a similar time line following years before Harvest and they had a war on Mars or something, I'm trying to find that info I had all of it on my computer and now I have to rely on bits of memories)

and as for the Pfhor and Covenant as enslaver by any other name is just a religion XD

Master Cheif was wearing Mark V(5) armour. He wore Mark IV with the other's before reach got glassed
