    Chrome vs GhostFox

well i have a problem here i am currently using Google Chrome and i like almost everything about it but its not a proxy browser. I was using GhostFox for the longest time because i loved the privacy it gave me but it has toolbars and takes up a good amount of the screen while Google Chrome gives a FULL screen here look at some screen shots.

    Google Chrome

    GhostFox

is there a web browser out there that has the screen size like Chrome and the privacy like GhostFox?

Why do you need privacy? Your not doing anything illegal really on a family computer.

Yeah. There is. Actually with chrome. You know there is a mode called incognito which doesn't save cookies/internet history/passwords/form data/temporary files/etc. It is in the tools options "New incognito window". Or you can hit ctrl+shift+N I believe.

That doesn't do anything except keep momma from finding out you were looking at porn..

Look skid, you don't know what your talking about. Incognito is good for nothing except for keeping people on your computer from finding out what you've been doing and to keep your computer running a little bit faster than if you had a bunch of internet files stored. But with this in mind, you want cookies. Cookies make life easy, most check boxes and simple stuff like that are saved in cookies. Simple things like the remember me checkbox on this site. Everytime you come here it will be unchecked if you checked it the time before. And every time you come to a site with a lot of flash and a lot of images it will take a large amount of time to load because the temporary files it had stored on your computer are no longer there so it can't just grab them from that. Basically I think incognito is pointless and useless unless your looking at illegal pages or porn that you don't want anyone who's going to be on that computer to see. It does not keep you anonymous or anything of the like.

    Ghostfox is better for anonymity.
Chrome has an outstandingly fast javascript load which when tested topped all the other browsers by like 9x.

You can fix the problem with not being able to see as much screen on Ghostfox and get rid of some of those useless toolbars up there.

Don't know much about either browser, but you can download a Ghostvilla or Ghostfox plugin for Firefox and it's supposed to work like ghost fox.

You could always just configure your entire network to use a proxy rather than base it strictly on your browser...but hey, what do I know.
