Question for the GFX'ers

I've had PS for about 6 months and have been slowly working my skills with the whole application and I was wondering, how good do I have to be to apply for a GFX position? I mean, I know theres not really a way to tell how good a person is unless you watch them or see all there artwork but based on the following signatures how much do I have to improve to apply?

3 isnt enough,and personally i think you should improve before applying,c4ds can make your signatures come to live bro,kiu and you'll be ready to apply

i agree with cj,
i would work on effects first
just start with the basics, look at some tuts
then you'll learn more, and get better and better
practice makes perfect :D
