Is it going to be like the old anime or is it gonna follow the manga or just do something else? I only so the first episode.
So far they have a few out in Japan, but it has to be translated so it is not released in the U.S. yet. The purpose of Brotherhood is to stick more closely to the manga then the original anime series did. Many people liked the original but there were many complaints about how there were too many filler episodes that had nothing to do with the story. So now that they are almost finished with the manga, they are starting the anime over (more to the point this time) with no fillers.
Read the manga and that's the entire thing in a nut shell, the first anime had nothing to do with the manga

Your lucky... I gotta work when it comes on, I watched the first episode and that was it... the same thing happened with the last 9 episodes of the original anime
I think it has the same stuff as before but it is going to introduce them sooner and not kill them off as fast.

ch 108 is up and over 100 pages, this effectively is the end of FMA... since the manga is the new Brotherhood, this is also it's ending
