Anime only Negi Springfield, 10 years old, (9, 3/4), is training to become Magister Magi. His training sends him to Mahora Academy, where he become a teacher at an all girls school... many adventures and his class is made up of many types of girls, a vampire, robot, ninjas, a ghost, mystics/priestess (nuns too), swords women, shota lovers, nerds, and time traveler... yeah it's hell on little Negi, missing father and mother, away from home, put's up with randomness and love triangles... Nodoka and Yue, I wish I was in Negi's shoes during that event.
Negima! main story- over last episodes :Spoilers: Asuna made a deal with the Devil as a child to save herself and seal her magical energy, thus creating a nullification barrier. The time on the pact runs out, Asuna dies, and I felt bad for Negi... He said, "Hey I'm gonna make a deal with the devil to bring Asuna back". Later "physically" stopped from this before could he could read the book. He along with what I now know is 1 time traveler (only discussed in manga) and her nerdy friend, anyway they have a time watch, it uses magic. He teleports to the past and his entire class gets teleported to. Negi meets Nagi, his father, in the past within 10 years. Thus making Negi's birth rather shaky considering Nagi gets pwned by his divide by zero blackhole thingy. Negi and the class all make probationary contracts, ( Asuna [kid form] is exception). They then pwned the demons and saved Asuna, went back into the future, and they used a gaint tree to dispel the pact, and end. :Spoilers:
Negima!? the story ark covers several of the last episodes :Spoilers: The star crystal is a powerful magical artifact and Nagi, (1000 master), can't control it. This aside it gets stolen by a old friend of Negi's "Anya", she's angry that Negi is doing better than her. She can't control it and subconsciously attacks Negi several times, disrupting his magic, turning him into a cupacabra, and turning everyone into their dud card forms. Negi also fights with the Black Rose Baron, who Negi believe to be his father, his cousin Nekane (referred as his sister) is the Baron. Negi gets sealed in a Magical realm, and fights the Darkness (manifested unstable energy), he saves Anya only to be caught in a magical vortex, he and Anya are saved by the 1000 master. Negi then has to track down his father only to watch him leave moments before he arrived. Nagi's message was that Negi will become as powerful as he is and that he have to improve if he wants to see him again. That's the end. :Spoilers:
Summer OVA: Nodoka and Yue practicing casting a spell, (the red string of fate), to see if Nodoka will be with Negi forever, (imitation spell). They spend the day to gather at a bath house. Asuna and Haruna try their hardest to make things "worse" the definition of that depends on the girl, heh. Asuna gets attacked by a robot. Nodoka and Negi have 2 rather funny moments and 1 is ruined by Haruna. Yue wouldn't admit feelings for Negi and her magic went crazy and started to drown people. It is stopped and Yue chooses not to tell Nodoka. Spring OVA: Negi's practicing a new spell and Asuna tell him to go to bed, they have a fight Negi's magic strips Asuna, she nearly kills Negi. 3 day later they go to an island, and various misadventures happen, Negi gets drowned by boobs, shark costumes, the vampire hunts a chupcabra. The normal things... Negi lost his glasses and Asuna feeling bad get them back. The Spring OVA is in the manga, summer is still unknown
sayo aisaka In Negima?!, the class seems to know about Sayo before Negi's arrival. They know she's friendly, but she seems to creep out the other girls all the same. She also shows an ability to appear in monitors and other screens, and Kazumi usually carries a camcorder around so others can see her. Later, she became Kazumi's helper as she can't be detected. doing things like exposing Asuna wearing a Chupacabra suit.
Negima!: Sayo died protecting her little sister's flowers from a storm, but it is not any more specific then that. Her flashback self bears a small resemblance to Konoka. She is invisible to all except Kazumi who became able to see her while researching her history. Evangeline cast a spell to allow her to interact with the rest of the class. The school dean seems to have known her as well, as he recited a poem she wrote when she was alive: "Her tiny hands are planting silver leaves so tender, patiently waiting for the bloom, next November..."
Your wrong in Negima!?, they did not know, as in Negima! Sayo was rumured to have switched schools, termainly ill, ect. Negima!? Eva. cast a spell on Kazumi's camera to see her, and in Negima! the spell was broken by both Sayo and Kazumi, and then Eva made it where the class could see her. Again thank you Deth. for your input. Intersting fact: Mana in the manga could see spirits and demons but never saw Sayo until after the Eva. event. Now that I think about what you said about a resemblence, mabye the dean marrired Sayo's sister... just a thought, if we go by time line 1940 (1960 in Negima!? though for this point disregarding that) years ago, plus middle school, would be roughly 60-70 years tops, which her sister in grade school would be around 9-10 mabye younger because of the school system in 1900's year round if I'm correct. The Grandmother of Konoka, may have been Sayo's little sister. purely theroritcal mind you

Albireo Imma or Kunal Sanders as he was referred to during the Mahora Tournament is a traveling companion of Negi's father Nagi as well as a member of the illustrious Ala Rubra. He is know as a pervert and a lolicon to which he frequently harasses all the girls of Negi's group. Since Deth refuses to read the manga I close this but leave room for return because Negima is dear to me
