I don't know where else to put this but here goes...
I desperately want to learn C++ (I'm focusing on window C++ right now), PSP C/Lua? & MIPS, Java, and lastly Delphi/Pascal, I still have to figure out which is which but that's for another time ;). I wanna be someones disciple / pupil / bitch, apprentice. My current project (yes, I know I'm jumping way ahead of myself) is a program that gets autorun off my U3 flashdrive. It has no GUI nor CMD window pop up, all it does it AUTOMATICALLY download an update so that I can get the entire program on someones computer by only having my U3 flashdrive in their computer for several seconds while it copy's itself over. The rest of the program it downloads will read commands I type into my IRC channel/server thing (not to familiar with internet relay chat), one of which needs to send me a file (via email?). This may be unnecessary depending on how fast it can copy itself over but it still needs to accept commands through IRC or some other form of chat thingy. I'm currently doing it in C++ and reading THIS as a guide. If anyone can suggest a better language for this highly appreciated. I need this thing as quick as possible, at max maybe 2 weeks. Yes I am aware of cURL and cIRCa but I can't figure the damned thing out! This isn't a request, this is stating my pseudo code.
