I have 4.16.6 but I had the same problem a while ago. All I did to fix it was wipe it off my computer completely and re-downloaded it. It loaded regularly again and searched and found everything. I don't know if it was something I did that fixed the problem but it continued to work after re-downloading it. Is limewire pro still expensive?

Don't wipe your computer, just delete limewire from it. The reason I asked about pro is because my friend said he got it for free and he has had no problems with it since. I just don't know where he got it for free at.
Just hack it ;D. Never tried limewire it could be challenging.
Anyways, it has to load once opening so give it 5 minutes before searching.

Yea good idea, mine usually says that it's still connecting to the internet so I usually give it a couple minutes anyway. Good luck.
