    I have IE8 and sometimes i'll go on a site i usually go on, and it redirects me to a random site(usually search engines, buying shit,etc.). So how can I stop this? I have to make a new tab, the continue. Also It loops.

    So I can't keep IE? I wanted solution and keep IE. I'm already too used to it.

    Lol well IE is a M$ product, so naturally like anything else they put out SUCKS!
    Therefore, j2eco7V recommends Firefox as well!

    But I think that could be a IE virus or something that does it. There could be a trojan on the computer. Who knows? It could be a number of things.

    You have adware my dear friend. That's what's causing you to be redirected to different sites. Try getting rid of the shit toolbars that you don't use, clear your temporary files, and run a spyware/adware removal tool. I suggest Spybot Search & Destroy since its one of the best ones out.

    And I also think you are better off running Firefox. Its a lot more secure, they had add-ons that will let you customize the crap out of it, and have Ad Block + which will clear all advertisements from websites. When you install Firefox, you can transfer all your bookmarks and cookies and such from IE8.

    Malware tends to adhere to IE, which is why I recommend Firefox. Even Google Chrome is better than IE.
