Please tell us what kind of PSP you have.

currently there is no way to downgrade a PSP with firmware higher than 5.03 without a pandora battery sorry :( also you cant downgrade a PSP 2000 with a TA-88V3 Motherboard or a PSP 3000.
also both NitePR and Bakon are bad ass!

First you need a PSP 1000 or 2000 otherwise go looking for Chicken-Hen...
You will need a Pandora Battery
You Will Also Need A Mark 1 PSP memory stick (you can check if it is by looking at the bottom right side of the memory stick) THIS IS NECESSARY OR THE IPL (AN ESSENTIAL PART OF DOWNGRADING) WILL NOT WRITE TO THE MS AND YOU WILL PHAIL....
2. Go HERE and download a mms (magic memory stick) maker, then go HERE to get the correct firmware thingy.... (lol)
3. Extract the files and plug in your PSP to your computer
4. Ok, back up all your PSP files and start the executable in the extracted files
5. Wait and this will make the mms... (follow all instructions that are given)
6. Once completed, safely eject your PSP from your computer, fully turn off your PSP, and put in your pandora battery.
7. Then i believe hold the Left Trigger or Both triggers or just the right while you turn on the PSP....
8. This will boot you into a menu where you just select Install Custom Firmware, and wait and then your DONE!!!
