Can we now use playstation network with this firmware

I have 5.00 M33-6 and I follow all the directions and after I ran both installers in the root of my ms it had a file called flash error txt and when u open it up it says invalid firmware need 5.50 some plz help to tell me what when wrong
When i tried to install the UPDATE , it freezes my PSP !
**I'm currently Installing the Gen-A .
When i tried to on my PSP back , it freezes again !
It kept freezing and freezing . Any knows why ?
This firmware is unreliable
i hate this firmware, i had it for a little bit then switched back from the lack of updates for it

Heh i can see alot of people are having problems.. Cause i am too *crys* when you install the gen A some people get there psp bricked.. for some ungodly reason.. mine is a psp 2000. And which is now bricked *woohoo*

umm.... My PSP is fucked up because of this program.... I just tried installing it and now my psp is bricked and is useless -.-....
