The past-People raised their own livestock,grew their own vegetables or hunted.THen traded the extra goods for goods they didnt have.

Today-People go to supermarkets for their goods.Very few hunt,raise their own cattle or grow their own crops.Cattle are raised in huge numbers,in the hundreds,are allowed the freedom the graze as the would in nature.

Humans are really the only species that benifits from our own destructive and lazy nature.Instead of using horse and bugy,we destroyed millions and millions of acres in forest and wildlife habitat so we would get where we want faster.Not considering other animals at all...If you ever shot a wild turkey,and compared the meat you get to the meat from a turkey baught in the store and ever wondered why,its because the keep hundreds of turkeys caged up together so they can't move and get fat.So yea,dont you think our world is a little fucked up?
