It appears Square Enix did have reason to register the domain name (qjnet/news/square-enix-working-on-direct-sequel-to-final-fantasy-xiii.html). It's now official the publisher announced at their 1st Production Department presscon earlier that Final Fantasy XIII is getting a direct sequel.
