How do I know if i made a magic memory stick correctly? I used the one from pspmod.com the full 2.0 version. I just want to make sure i have done it right.

How do I know if i made a magic memory stick correctly? I used the one from pspmod.com the full 2.0 version. I just want to make sure i have done it right.
When used with a jigkick battery, aka Pandora's Battery, it while have a menu or just stay black[mine stayed black]. Just press X and wait for it to finish and it should work.
