RE5
Hey guy’s, been awhile since I reviewed any thing. so... RE5, a well rounded game, it’s predecessor RE4 set the style and it follows it sorta. This game, well has a bad item management system (9 squares per person, no ammo anywhere, mixing herbs is a b*tch), collision detection flaws, and bad A.I. Sheva, u dumbass, don’t shoot through me and don’t run in front of my gun, my knife, the chainsaws... I see a pattern here...
The flaws, in total, besmirch the good name of RE4. Capcom dropped the ball. 6 of 10. I’d change this score if they release updates, but this game is crap… But the story intrigues me so I keep playing, maybe its story could save it.
6.5 after beating it the story gained a half... well not as bad

Re: RE5
Maybe because it is still new. They may later fix the bugs. I played left for dead when it came out and it had such bad loading...(it would actual load to load a loading bar to load the game...Ya that's a lot...) So in a couple of months it will have less bugs...

Re: RE5
It was more than just that the overall problems and limited AI and ammo, it was not as good as RE4, which should be viable for comparision. I started playing because of it. Not to mention I played 0,1,3,4, and Gaiden for GB. I won't mention the Outbreak games... so this is high on my list but the other games like 1,3,4 were better. I liked the story it made the bad gameplay worth it.

Re: RE5
Yea, I agree, everything before 5 was a lot better. But their probably trying to amp it up with the newer consoles and try to make it a game that no one has played the likes of. The story is compelling which is why I played it but it does have its downsides. Overall I would give it about a 6 or 7 out of 10.

Re: RE5
Re5 is a great game overall, if I never played Re4, I would give it a 9 or a 9.5 out of 10. However, Re5 does not live up to its predecessor in terms of being a survival horror, I mean Re4 was pretty scary, but 5 is, well maybe just a survival, but it is not horrifying. Its graphics are stunning, and the weapons management is easy to deal with. Overall it is a great game, but i was a little disappointed in the fact that it was not terrifying.

Re: RE5
RE4 Had its moments where you would be playing and you would hear music or you were alone and it would make you stop and say crap where the **** is this thing. In RE5 Its just you shoot, you find what you need, kill the boss next chapter. 7 out of 10
