Need to downgrade first?

So here's the deal I'm about to install 5.00 M33 on a phat system, and I checked the system info and it's running Sony version 5.03, It came from a network update. So does this mean that I have to downgrade first?
And if I do need to downgrade, could someone give me some info on how to and a link to get the software need to do it?

Yes, you have to downgrade.
