Pc & Cell phone problem

can anyone tell me hoe to plug my cell phone in to my computer. cuz it wont read the software or it will say that it dosent have the right software.
(also I have tried a usb cable. LOL)

If you have LG, your phone came with a disc you need to put in first to install the drivers.

Yea, you will mostly likely need to install some software(like vcast, depending on what service provider and intentions).

First of all what are you trying to do with it? Second what type of phone is it?

I want to put ring tones on it.
It a v3 razor with At&t as a service provider.

Go to your local AT&T store and tell them about your problem. I would bet money that they will give you a disk and you will have to install some new software onto your computer.

Gonna have to agree with my bro there.

I used to have a V3 Razor, I used this program called Motorola Phone Tools. It allows you to take a song from iTunes or a file from your computer and crop out what you like from it. Then you copy it to your phone and use it as a ringtone. Point is, check a few programs (to see if it recognizes your phone) or check AT&T's site for the FAQ's and help section before you have to actually go to the store.
