MIPS guide<----wtf?

Hello who ever is reading this. I've tried to read the MIPS Guide book and, as the Title of this thread says, I'm reading and I'm like....wtf? So excuse me for not knowing this stuff but can someone be kind enough to teach me the basics of making codes? I'd like to know step by step to make sure I'd know what I'm doing. Ill rep+ anyone who teaches me how to as I am desperate to make codes for not just FTB2, but for my other games.

So please I ask nicely, could anyone be kind enough to teach me how?

well, for a start, i wanna try inf health, for ftb2.

Inf health is explained and more detail than CoDeX would most likely give in the handbook.

Guide:For INF Health
Step 1: Find Unknown Value - 32 bit
Step 2: Lose Health
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game False to Pause game True. This will make the searching faster.
Step 3: Change 0=Same to 3=Less
Step 4: Wait for it finish
Step 5: Do anything you want but DO NOT HEAL OR GET HURT!!
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game True to Pause game False.
Step 6: Change 3=Less to 0=Same
Step 7: Let it finish
Step 8: Gain health
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game False to Pause game True.
Step 9: Change 0=Same to 2=Greater
Step 10: Lose Health
Step 11: Change 2=Greater to 3=Less
Step 12: Do anything but DO NOT HEAL OR GET HURT!!
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game True to Pause game False.
Step 13: Change 3=Less to 0=Same
Step 14: Reload
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game False to Pause game True.
Step 15: Change 0=Same to 2=Greater
Step 16: Lose Health
Step 17: Change 2=Greater to 3=Less
Step 18: Do anything but DO NOT HEAL OR GET HURT!!
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game True to Pause game False.
Step 19: Change 3=Less to 0=Same
Step 20: Gain Health
Optional: In you cheat device change Pause Game False to Pause game True.
Step 22: Change 0=Same to 2=Greater
Step 23: By this time the search results would mostly stay the same, so press X on as many codes as you want. Press O when you press X on them.
Step 24: Write down results and add them later to the your code Database for that game.

I would make a different code for each line and test them to find out which code doesn't do anything then delete it.
