Windows Installer help REp ++++ 10k in vbux!!!

OK so when I try to open a .exe file it boots up windows installer.Then it says...... This installation package cannot be installed by the windows installer service. You must install a newer windows service package.So...I looked into it and got a windows service package numero 2.BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! The stupid service pack extracts and stuff but,my comp says It has generated errors.I dounload Once....Twice....Three times from different trusted sites.So there ill rep and give vbux 10k to who fixes it.
