Download it, put it on a CD/USB drive...Put in/Plug in to your 360, and turn it on. You'll be prompted to update. Noob.

Yeah, Johnny did the same thing for me a while back so I could update when they made the last major dashboard change

I have the new dashboard legit right now.

any idea how this is gonna work with modded xboxz?

Shouldn't change anything. The modded 360's are DVD firmware modded, a dashboard update shouldn't change a thing. But if you have a modded 360, I suggest you stay off live for 1 day after teh update just in case.

lol i know what i did when i modded...i meant if anybody knew about security updates that would affect it
