im not sure, but i think that the 1001 wont fit...
the 1000 and 2000 series remotes are different sizes
i know that. im asking i there is a difference between the mic on the 1000 and 2000. and if a mic that was purchased in a 2000 headset/remote set will work on a 1000.
check the size of the 1000 mic size with a regular headphone plug-thigy size, if its the same i think it should fit and work cause the 2000 mic is the same size as reg. headphones...
oh, the mics themselfs work for both and maybe 3000
