To sum up not your average J-RPG, "screw logic let's shoot things" attitude flies here. Two types of weapons are in effect along with with secondary weapons and special ammo, so handguns and machineguns are the norm, prepare to stick tons of useless shit to your guns... not that it helps much... The combat sucks you just get thrown into a match with no heads up on anything, turned based combat and a hero meter ruins the gameplay, and on that note of the hero meter... which if it runs out makes you characters run like scared girls, whats worse is they aren't fast enough to flee battle if necessary you'll get gun'd down, took me 30 mins just to figure out the goddamn item menu. The single worst part is the presentation of the world map, which involves color-coated checker grids that slow down gameplay to a crawl, I'm tempted to keep playing cause even though the voice acting and art are terrible, I genuinely like the characters humor and customization.
3.5 of 10, come on Sega this game doen't have a blue hedgehog how did you make this suck? and for that matter tri-Ace shape up and work on making CURRENT GEN visuals this still looks like last gen starter games
