Microphone problems?

My microphone just all of a sudden wentweird.. Apparently my friends can hear my talking but i cant hear them through the mic... And you know that sound you make when you plug it into ur controller well yah if i move it around it makes that sound. before you even post, no my mic is not muted and in preferences it on 10 and my volume is up..

Are your speakers plugged in? Sometimes you can kick a wire out of it's place.

you hear them talk through the little ear piece on the headset,and idk dude it sounds like your headset is broken.

if they can hear you thou alls you have to do its go to preferences>voice>enable hear through stereo or w/e its called

i tried that but i can hardly hear the people on stereo

idk then only thing you can do i guess is get a new mic.

Better advise is that you just change your microphone...Then you got rid from all of the problems
