# iPod Touch 4G Event Scheduled For September 1: Officially Confirmed!

Apple’s Special Event will take place September 7. As it turns out, when Apple officially sent invites, the date is 6 days earlier… September 1 to be exact!

Unlike previous years, there doesn’t seem to be a definite title for this event other than it is “special”. The iPod Touch 4gis a guaranteed announcement. However the open endedness of the event’s name provide a huge cushion for more rumors!

The event takes place in San Francisco of course and will begin at 10AM Pacific Time. Rest assured we’ll be covering the event from top to bottom, so make sure to check us out that day!
