Since firmware v3.42, Sony has been able to block out hacks (qjnet/playstation-3/ps3-fw-342-blocks-ps-jailbreak.html) such as the PS Jailbreak, at least for those who've updated. Those who wished to continue using the jailbreak have opted to stay away
