Rooting the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

- Check to see which model you have 3100, 3110, or 3113 by going to settings and clicking about tablet section
- Extract Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Root Files.zip to your desktop
- Connect tablet to usb
- Navigate to TABLET_ROOT folder and move gtab2_jellybean_rooter.zip to your root directory of your tablet
- Move UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip to your root directory of your tablet
- Navigate to KIES folder and double click download.html
- Choose from the website if you have Windows or Mac, and download your OS
- Run KiesSetup
- Make sure Kies is Closed
- Disconnect the Tab from your PC
- Restart your Tab in Download Mode (Power Off Tab then Hold Volume - & Power Button)
- Navigate to ODIN folder
- Run Odin3 v1.85 and UNCHECK "Auto Reboot" only
- Click the PDA button
- Navigate to CWM folder
- Navigate to 3100, 3110, or 3113, depending on your tablet model
- Select the CWM Tar file (DO NOT HIT START YET)
- Connect tablet to usb, the first "ID:COM" box should turn yellow and the Message windows should read "Added"
- Now, Hit Start
- When Completed the "ID:COM" Box should turn Green and right above it it should say "Pass"
- **Now the Following 3 Steps are Crucial, so read them carefully**
- Disconnect the Tab from your PC
- Hold down THE POWER BUTTON ONLY so the Tab will Turn Off
- Restart the Tab in Recovery Mode (Hold Volume + & Power Button), this should get you into CWM
- (If you see Stock Recovery, you messed up, start again)
- In CWM, Select "Install Zip from SDCard" and find the gtab2_jellybean_rooter.zip and install it
- Select "Go Back+++" and then "Reboot Device"
- At this Time, CWM will ask if you want to prevent the OS from Removing CMW, "SELECT YES"
- Once rebooted, power off the device again, and go back into Recovery Mode (Hold Volume + & Power Button)
- In CWM, Select "Install Zip from SDCard" and find the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip and install it
- Select "Go Back+++" and then "Reboot Device"
- Thats it. When your Tab Starts up, you will have SuperSU installed, open it, and update it.
Now you can install some root apps. Navigate to ROOT APPS folder and choose some apps:
*RootExplorer allows you to access your root files (This is for advanced users)
*SetCPU overclocks your tablet
*TempMonitor allows you to see the temperature of your tablet
*Titanium Backup Pro allows you to back up all your apps with it's save data, remove bloatware, and even rip apps to an apk file to install on another phone
