*This hostfile blocks websites dead in their tracks. If you find you can not connect to a website:
Reopen the host file as Administrator
Press CTRL + F
Search for the website
Remove it
Save


Written Instructions:
Right click notepad and run as Administrator
Click File - Open
Navigate to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Copy the host file contents from the link above
Select all and paste


*If you have any previously blocked websites then copy those and paste in the new block list

Thanks for reminding me of this trick. I did the same thing on my phone to block those obnoxious ads that blow up your phone. The hosts file is in /system/etc/ and you need root access.
