Welcome to CD! and depending on what psp you have 5.5 might be unhackable for you. Do you have 2000 or 3000?

Then you should be able to put CFW on it. If you do not know how you might want to view some tutorials on how to make a MMS and a Pandoras Battery. Here is a tutorial made by CJ, but there are many more. If you decide to make your own, I would advise you to be extremely careful because you can seriously mess your PSP up for good. If a friend knows how to do it (WELL), let him/her do it. If not you can always buy them.
