Question for the GFX'ers

I've had PS for about 6 months and have been slowly working my skills with the whole application and I was wondering, how good do I have to be to apply for a GFX position? I mean, I know theres not really a way to tell how good a person is unless you watch them or see all there artwork but based on the following signatures how much do I have to improve to apply?

Those are my latest and Im working on one that should turn out better then all of them.

3 isnt enough,and personally i think you should improve before applying,c4ds can make your signatures come to live bro,kiu and you'll be ready to apply

i agree with cj,
i would work on effects first
just start with the basics, look at some tuts
then you'll learn more, and get better and better
practice makes perfect :D

Codex how do i change path from pen tool to grab image cuz when i hit ctrl c then go to my sig and hit ctrl v and it just post's path oh and how to i resize in photoshop cs4

So you are using the pen tool to select parts of the image?
Right Click/ Make Selection...

Ctrl T or Right click then Free Transform or Edit Transform

Start learning to use C4D's and read some tutorials on your text placement, color and blending.
