i agree with cj,
i would work on effects first
just start with the basics, look at some tuts
then you'll learn more, and get better and better
practice makes perfect :D

Codex how do i change path from pen tool to grab image cuz when i hit ctrl c then go to my sig and hit ctrl v and it just post's path oh and how to i resize in photoshop cs4

So you are using the pen tool to select parts of the image?
