Apparently you have too much money to spend, unlike me who has to struggle to help my mom pay the bills. I haven't even been able to help Johnny pay the site because my mom is short on the gas/electric and rent bills. My computer lets me check my school website, lets me run my practice exams, and check CD. Thats all I need.

Re: Best pc - who thinks they got a beast?

amaizly, it does ALOT, conidering the grpahics card iisnt
RAM: 4GB
CPU: 2.40GHZ
Windows Vista Ultra 32-Bit
its a laptop btw, so its not like I can improve it :(
for a pieace of crap (and I had computer experts judge my computer), I am able to run The Simpsons Hit and Run, Command and Conquer the first decade, star wars battlefront, star wars battlefront 2, the sims, gta sa, call of duty 4, bioshock all with little or no problems
and ng4 emulator runs like 60FPS
but what sucks makes up for in how many I got:
2 Laptops pretty much the same
1 laptop 4 GB RAM, 64-Bit, 500HDD
1 desktop same as above
2 crap desktops, one windows 98 (omg) other windows xp
and two broken desktops(parts mising)

Re: Best pc - who thinks they got a beast?
I have a MacPro 2.66 GHz, pretty good for the hefty price tag. Does anything I want, really! It even makes toast!
https://www.consolediscussions.com/f...01/toast-1.png
Hell yes.
Specs:
3 GB RAM
640 GB Harddrive
Cost 1,599 Euros, which was pretty good. I got it in Denmark, so naturally it was much cheaper than buying from the United States.
EDIT: I also have an HP Laptop that I use mostly to download stuff illegally on. Yeah I'm a badass.

For some reason I though you said MacBookPro. I was about to say you got ripped off bad...
Anyways I have an HP pavilion laptop with about 4 gigs of RAM and a 320 GB Hard Drive. The graphics card isn't the best but I'm not using it for games.

You wasted some money. That shouldn't have costed you 3500. Unless you're including the 2 moniters.

Forgot to mention that they were included in the price. You also gotta include the case, the power supply, the motherboard, and the fans and keyboard and such. I had to buy the mic and webcam as well. :p

Yeah, I didn't notice they were DDR2 until after I bought them... >_>
EDIT: I returned them and got two 1GB GDDR5 video cards instead.

Re: Best pc - who thinks they got a beast?
Just got a new computer (I pay for my own things, so I can't afford a 3 grand computer).
4GB DDR3
AMD phenom II x6 [yes, six cores] Overclocked to 4.0 GHz (Stock 2.8 )
GTX 470 SuperClocked (I'm working, and when I get the money I'll get another and do SLI)
My CPU is watercooled
Case is a CM Storm Scout
Hard drive is some shitty old one from my last computer
I have Dual moniters set up as well (1 24" and 1 20")
