last night i did a regular psp update to see what the new features were on it and now my psp doesn't seem to have anymore custom firmware .also i don't have recovery mode and all of my home brew apps say "this game cannot be started. the data is corrupt" . please tell me how to get it back to custom firmware.plzzzzzzzzzz.:sad:

Yea, make sure you don't install OFW or else that will happen. Just stick to installing CFW only.
Actuallyu what you did wrong is forget to go to Recovery mode and choose "system update CFW" which is in OFW "Official firmware" and yeah i did the exact same thing and i didnt know it was as easy as that so i came with the conclucion to put to ofw and anyways using the pandoras is the easiest way to recover

Yeah. If you update to a OFW then you will have to do the process of rehacking the PSP. And yes it works all the same if you make the pandora battery. I made mine. Its all the same. Just dont update to the OFW anymore, switch it so that instead of updating to OFW it will just upload to CFW. Problem solved. And if you think your going to do that again then just keep the pandora in a box or something with a MMS that all ready to go and that will make it hacked once more. Thats what I did like 2 times because the new PSN update for the movies and TV wasnt on my PSP so i assumed you needed OFW for it. So just keep a pandora and ready to go MMS somewhere.
