Re: Scammers on xbox live.
How did he scam your friend and try to scam you? I don't really know of any believable scams on XBL.
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
He could have asked for a username and password for a gamertag saying he would make it better or hack it. You shouldnt believe them.

easy, make a bullshit website telling you to give them your email and password for XBL and you get free Microsoft Points / Xbox LIVE Gold
i got scammed awhile back on a different account. one of the fake sites are xboxliveandpoints.com
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
hmmm wow that sucks and how did he scam u?
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
Classic example that went around I received yesterday. A friend ( not named ) of mine fell for this and then someone logged onto his account and sent a M2AF about this site : http://ilovejason.blackapplehost.com/
Don't input anything there unless its fake.
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
He didn't scam me. But my friend almost got scammed by him had i not told him it was fake he would fell for it. He thought he was gonna buy a 10th prestige on call of duty lol. But the scammer was one of my friends (used to be). But anyways i have found a legitimate way to take him down.

Let's rephrase that without committing theft ourselves...?
Mute the bastard, file a complaint, submit a negative player review, and block communications.
Very, very simple. It's not your fault OR business if your friends are stupid/pathetic enough to scam or get scammed.

No Sneaky Poptart asked him how he was scammed, Cannon was explaining it.
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
Yea, I get it now. But why would you give a stranger your profile (especially if it has your credit card info) even if you could get free MS points? I don't know why he would almost fall for someone who told him he would get 10th level prestige also? It seems quite false already, unless he was going to take a few days/weeks to get it, there is no way he could have leveled that fast. Is your friend new to XBL or Call of Duty, if so I can understand.

Yeah that is some serious playing. I have like 15h playing time and only level like 45 not even prestiged yet. I'm not exactly sure what level I am. And I'm not uber pro like Adam ;D but I am fairly decent at leveling up and haven't had any double XP playing time.
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
I can't remember my total playing time, but I remember it took me quite a few weekends to get to level 55 4th prestige. So just for someone (random person) to say let me have your profile and I can get you to 10th prestige, just like that, without wanting anything in return is a little off as it is.
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
He never was going to give him his profile he was just gonna send him points for a 10th prestige thing but like i said i stopped it and i stopped him. The scammer's account is now mine.

And yes he was quite new to the whole call of duty deal.

What points are you talking about? As far as I know, you can't transfer MS Points.

Lmao yeah. and your 75k kills and 34 DAYS of playing time. Thats insane lol. I have better accuracy than you though ;D. 23.x % or something. Maybe, never played head quarters yet. Having a problem with them joining games every time I try to join it doesn't seem like it is trying to join anyone's game it just makes my own and people join mine.
But master just tell your friend there is no way to transfer microsoft points, give tenth prestige or any crap like that. Anything that seems too good to be true, probably isn't true.

Been playing for well over 600 days.
600 days = 14400 hours
34 days = 816 hours
14400 / 816 = ~17
~17/24 = 70.
70 Mins per day. Not as much as you'd expect (BTW I can play nights from midnight to 8 AM sometimes, if my Australian mates are online). I've got a friend, Lh83, who has 98 days and 270k+ kills. THATS insane.
Re: Scammers on xbox live.
He wanted the code off the back of a microsoft points code, and yes i'm very well aware that you cant transfer microsoft points
