Ages Of Consent.

Sex is legal at the age of 16 in these following states:

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia

Sex is legal at the age of 17 in these following states:

Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Texas

Sex is legal at the age of 18 in these following states:

Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Idaho, North Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

Just want to point this out. Under federal law if you are 18 though you cannot legally have sex with someone under 18. Those laws just mean if two people under 18 have met the age requirements they can have sex.

Exactly. It is still illegal. Just they have no established way to deal with it. So they just overlook it. Besides, if they tried to deal with all the underage sex cases in the nation... well they couldn't. Its not logistically possible to. Plus it has a low priority compared with busting drug dealers and catching murderers.

Haha. They have it illegal because then you MIGHT have a child. And if you do then unless you get an abortion or put it up for adoption you have to take care of it. Ruins your life. Yada yada. At least that is their thought proccess.
