Heads Up Xbox 360 Modders

Throughout the past few days Microsoft has been banning those who have modded their Xbox 360 to play backup games. This is to combat those who are using it to pirate games. Apparently the bans will even affect those who play offline... Which I not only don't believe, but find stupid since they plan on banning them from Xbox Live, but they play offline.

So far only my friends with Hitachi drives are getting the ban hammer, but still be careful. Those who only have flashed drives to play backups of their games, play the original copy for awhile. Those that don't... Take this as a warning to not play unreleased games, since some got banned for playing Forza 3 early.

That's when I started noticing it most. My friends started getting banned after they played Forza 3. Thanks for the heads up though.

That's why I said I didn't believe it. I mean unless they somehow tracked it via the HDD, so if they took the HDD to a friends house and plugged it in. Then they got banned or something IDK?

what idiot would seriously play a game before its actual release? who ever does something like that must a bonafide moron.

If you want to play them that bad before their release just play it offline and/or on a different account.

The trick is to buy two 360's. One good for legit play. One cheap piece of shit that works for offline pirated games.

I don't have xbox live either and I sure as hell won't hook up to the internet without checking for this sorta thing.

Oh and Johnny thanks for the tip, and I do need my gamescore updated, so expect a call on that.

Lol I got banned. I'm going to gut swap though. After that I'll lay low for awhile.
