January 3rd 2010 Updates

Happy New Year
Ahhh the new year 2010. You have any idea how hard it was to name the title January 3rd 2010 Updates? Cause I forgot it was 2010 and I kept putting 2009 lol. Anyway, what are all you guys New Year's Resolutions?

Mine is to get my 6 pack back lol.


The Bad News
ISODiscussions and PornoDiscussions are down again. The reason? I got scammed... These douche's left with my money. Only $30, but still... I didn't get a backup or anything from them, so I have to use the backup I had before I hosted with them. Which is fine I guess, since not much was changed since that backup.

They are just scammers and opened up another website and claimed they were a different company that "somehow" had our backups of our previous sites. Were they going to give them to us for free? Nope, had to host with them... Which I think was illegal for them to do. Anyway most lost like 4 months worth, but I didn't lose that much since I was only hosting with them for like a week or two till we went permanently down. We will be down until I can find another host for those sites. I got money for it now so it's not a problem to pay for it really, it's just the matter of finding a cheap, reliable, offshore host. To those wondering, I did file a claim on Paypal, but no idea how well that will go.

Wow must suck to be scammed man. $30 isn't alot, :) I'll PM you about the hosting stuff..

you should try hostgator. Get the baby plan, and use the code wordpress for checkout. For the hosting on the baby plan with the check out code wordpress, it is $0.01. Month costs I'm not sure. I think it is just signup. But, yeah, try them. I've heard great reviews. Also, Johnny, why not just have it on the console discussions server? Those sites never had that much activity so they shouldn't take up that much bandwidth.
