FTb3 online... Wats happenin.... :/

A number of you are wondering whats happening with getting online on ftb3... Well here's the full story. Firstly i'll point out that YES it is possible to get online on ftb3 using Cfw and the USA iso. At the moment there are about 6 people who have this magic ability and these guys are going to keep it between them. Proof? Smokin has a video showing him online on ftb3 ... + i asked him lol......
How?? Apparently these guys have some sort of patch that someone's created... i dont know what or how it works ....
Are they gonna spill the beans??? No one knows... but in my opinion its a no ..Smokin made it clear that him and his small circle of hacking friends are going to keep it to "protect" socom.....Yes he also said that he will release if there is a cheat detector... i asked around and there is a cheat detector but still they wont release ............ . . . . . :dry:
As far as i know.. no one can crack it.... (people only CLAIM to be close) .. Those who do crack it (like smokin) will keep it too themselves....Apparantly its a real mission and not even psnabler can support it as the ID.Bin file is no where to be found...........
Some of you are hoping that Johnny can fix the 6.20 CD cfw to work on psn .. maybe possible idk ..

My advise .. dont count on hackers to get round this problem and leak it round to everyone.... Im just going to buy the dam game :mellow:

they don't have to release it, they should keep it to themselves. They made it, they can do what they want with it

They can do what they want with it. They made the patch they have the rights to do what they want with it. I rather them not release it.

Release it or not someone else is trying to crack it as we speak so it really won't matter..

Just give it a few weeks or a month or so tops and it will be hacked.. :taz:

for all the people hating on smokin's choice hop off him and redhate are doing this game a favour... by stoping hacking, something zipper tried to do a few times and failed, now slant seven is off to good start, and its smokins and red hates choice if it gets released, but think about it. all the kids askin for it, are the ones u see in game freezing in snipe games or 1 shotting in rank up games, making the game almost pointless, people who actually "hack" do shit for them self and its they're choice if it gets released. and if u can hack you would find a way in urself. all you who claimed to be "hackers" are now screwed, you gotta be able to do shit and figure shit out yourself and not just copy and paste

And as soon a I see a hacker, they get reported a few times, and they get banned, and then it's another $20 to play online.

damn i could care less about "hacking the game" i just wanted to play it period without having to update to OFW. people aretrying to crack the patch but probobly wont be able to for a while. lets just hope it has a strong cheat detection system. :/

dont get me wrong i agree with not releasing the patch but they've approached this in the worst way possible....They've bullshitted everyone a lot! i mean they say their just protecting socom... If they truly wanted to protect socom then they wouldve just bought the game instead of straining their brains to figuring a way out of getting online with cfw.... They've also made this whole situation public.. I mean if ur going to create a patch that can possibly turn ftb3 into a hack fest if leaked Then DONT let these hackers know its possible to get online in the first place.. keep it silent, thats all im saying..... :/

4 player co-op is so ballin. online is so much fun!

Well I've also bypassed the firmware checker with just a code, ISO, CFW and 1 hour of my time. Last I heard smokin and them were not going to release anything.
I could further this with by buying a purchase ticket on PSN or buying the UMD game but why when they have it and I'm not to interested in it that much. I just wanted to see if it could be done without a prx and a ISO, and NO I'm not release anything either but here is the vid of me cracking it and useing the code.

As I recall Johnny Say it required PSN code to go online so..even is smokin created a patch he still cant get online wit out the code.

We where playing yesterday ftb3 and yes ;-( some guy was already 1shotting, teleporting and self reviving. So i guess the game is screwed up already.

Exactly it will either be leached or someone will just figure it out, I dont know why they think they are the only ones who can do it.
