Wtf is happening!?!?!?

Wtf is happening to my mw2? Ok lets start this story.

1. When i first got cod4 mw1 i would get 1 bar and shitty lag.
2. i got it fixed and would always get 3-4 bars in a match on it
3. I got mw2, I go to search for a team deathmatch and its all fucked up?
It goes like testing matches 99.8 searching for games ( 60 ms ping
It will say testing matches and when it hits 99.9 it says searching for games ( 60 ms ping and it will keep rising every time. I can only get into mosh pits and i have to wait like 5 mins. And if i do get into a match i have 1 bar connection and lag like my guy is on ice. But when i put cod4 in it gets me into a tdm in 2 seconds and i have 3 bar connection...

You're doing it wrong.

If you're using wireless, get rid of it. Use a wired connection. Wireless will make your connection worse than whale shit in the middle of winter.

Im using wired... And if you listened i said in the paragraph i get a good connection on mw1

First off, tl;dr.

And I can't listen to text, sorry.

Anyway, try unplugging your router (power) for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in (With your Xbox off).

Ok dude now i cannot find matches 1 bit but if i join someones sessiong in progress i get 2-3 bars no lag..

Wait dude, I had your exact same problem before. Want me to tell you how to fix it? It's pretty advanced but it works every time.

or you can do one of 2 things i did to stop the bad connection.

either get a new ISP
OR
get a PlayStation 3 (recommended choice)
