This Bill just WON'T die!
Basically this Bill will allow government to blacklist websites they don't see fit. Some they listed off would be file sharing websites and hacking related websites.
Keep Console Discussions and others online. Keep your eye on this bill and when more petitions and congress contacts occur, PARTICIPATE. This bill could change the internet as we know it.

I dont know that this website would neccessarily be targeted because i thought I read somewhere that congress said that JailBreaking Ipods and installing custom firmware and what not on your own devices does not break any laws. I think if there was talk about illegally downloading games here, then it would probably be an issue.
As far as everything else, file sharing, hacking stuff, that is total bullshit, that is stuff that is protected under the first ammendment. That is what seperates the US from places like China and Pakistan. The first ammendment, our right to say whatever the fuck we want, whenever the hell we want to say it, about anyone we want to say it about. If you take away that right, you not only belittle the constitution that our forefathers took so long to frame, but you also take away the liberty and rights of millions of Americans. I say NO to this, and any bill anything like it. I will follow this closely, and do what I can, thanks for the heads up Johnny.
See I thought it was a violation of freedom of speech too, but how would the bill of made it this far? If it wasn't for the 4.7 million people that found out and wrote congress, this bill could have already been passed. They tried to hide it and due to petitions and shit, the bill got delayed since congress is out of session till fall or something.Quote:
