cow what do you think the best CFW is im talking about has the most features and is just al in overall the best recent CFW to have and to halp you with your hacking abilities and let me point out that i have a PHAT PSP.

the best CFW of all time is 3.40 OE (Open Edition)
and for the PSP Phat i recommend 3.40 OE because
of its ability to do basicaly anything.
and the best for PSP Slim is 4.01 M33-3 so far.

ok lol please explain some of its features that sets it apart from the other CFW's.

it runs homebrew the best and u dont need
to update for higher needed firmware for
certain games. and i really dont wanna go thru the
list right now lol i'll explain some other time.

i went back like 3 pages for 3.90.. lmao i didn't see this.

Nevermind it worked. It turns out all i needed to do was make a blank folder called game under psp and madden worked and the install worked. So simple yet so complicated lol.

How To Install:
Download the 5.00 M33 updater and put it into
MS_ROOT > Game > UPDATE then download the
500.PBP and place in on your MS_ROOT then start
the update and your good to go.

I know what you mean. I'm on 3.90 myself, i wanted the radio (the homebrew version wasn't working for me). But there's not that much thats new on the higher fw's just some little things here and there. All i want is tv -> psp (not lfp), a better browser, and some more video format compatibility.

I don't have a slim but I don't understand why you can't put 3.40 OE on your slim?

because the PSP Slim STARTS at 3.60 OFW and the
motherboard is not meant to go below that or some
thing like that lol but yeah even if u got the PSP Phat

Were did you copy and paste this from? if you did, or at least get this from?

I DL'd the 5.00 M33 and when I went to install it said 500.PBP not present do you want to DL from internet? I clicked yes and when it's done it says incorrect file.

Any idea as to what is happening?

download the 5.00 M33 pack i uploaded on this
thread and place the 500.PBP on ur MS_ROOT
then try to install it again
