MIPS is a language, every RAM address has a value and each value has a MIPS statement, like the value 0x03E00008 in MIPS is "Jr $Ra" which will jump to the return address once this line is executed. Real every guide here and at OHG and get the book as a PDF called "See MIPS Run". Good luck
