NEED help with changing mac adderess

i have a psp 2000 5.00 m33-4 and i cant get my mac adderess changed i need it for a game and i've tried mac spoofer but i dont really get it i need to not visually change it i want to change it so i can play a game (resistance) but i wont work beacause my psp says its someone elese's psp and i need to change it

i think i heard that it works with 3.90 and ^ and lower than 5.00
