i downloaded a game from the sony website for psp, and once it got done i tried to play it but it said "the system software of your psp system is version 5.00. to start you must update to version 5.03 or later." i have custom firmware 5.00m33-6. if it possible to convert the iso so it can play on 5.00m33-6?

No. You have to download a newer firmware.

There is a 5.50 GEN-A... It has the same source code as the M33 firmware....
