im sorry, but bad move on your part, if you have no experience with technology, which im not sayen you dont cuz idk, when you did open it up, you wouldent know what to look for, it would probly be somthing like what you said earlier, a broken connection from the battery port to the rest of the psp, since the battery port is seprate from the AV power source, it would still of worked just like you said it did, so there was nothing you could do on your part unless you knew a repair shop close to you (Not a sony repair shop just like if the local raido shak did repairs)
