One of my saved game files have become corrupt. Now everytime i run the game i have to make a new profile, but i dont want to seeing as i had gone far into the game. Is there a way to recover the corrupted data?

no way, and try to backup all your memory stick, format, and see if it doesn't get corrupt anymore. Another factor is probably the game itself
