Need my logo updated

So as many of you know I own a chess website, which is actually getting successful. However I would like to make some changes, some of which I can very easily make, like the background, which is all .pngs, so all I really have to do is edit them, however my logo will need some updating.

Here's my logo (transparent background):






This is what needs to get done:

1. Make it a little more professional
2. Make it so it is compatible with a dark background (greyish-blue will be the new background hopefully)
3. Needs to be that same kind of style, simple
4. Needs to be text and some sort of image
5. You do NOT have to use the same image on the left with a rook
6. There has to be some sort of chess piece on there, doesn't matter which piece, can be multiple
7. The text has to be the same font, or something close to it
8. The image has to be easily removable in the event I want business cards done
9. The .pngs and .jpg have to have a transparent background, and I would prefer the vector ones as well, but if they aren't I fully understand

Formats I want:

NOTE: The ones Bold are optional, as if I wanted to I could do it from the original, and the ones underlined are ones which I would PREFER to have as well, but aren't required.

1 .psd of the whole thing
1 .png of whole logo
1 .jpg of whole logo
1 .png of the image itself
1 .jpg of the image itself
1 .pdf of whole logo as a vector
1 .pdf of the image itself as a vector
1 of a vector file format (your choice, has to be compatible with illustrator) of whole logo
1 of a vector file format (your choice, has to be compatible with illustrator) of the image itself

all of these images must be contained within a folder and uploaded as a .zip and/or .rar

something with a whitish outline around each letter or around the whole group of words

The font can be changed on the fly.

that's what it is now, however it will be changed very soon nice logos by both of you, however I think the one AB90210 (wtf?) made is a little too plain, but the one codex made is getting almost there, I just don't like that blue background, so just remove it and I'll see from there
