My new computer is beast! :D

    Specs:

    3.0 Ghz Core 2 Quad
    8gbs RAM
1.5TB HDD with 64gb SSD combined through RAID
Two 1gb DDR2 Videocards (I got two monitors)

All for the grand total of $3500. Birthday money and saving well spent, if I do say so.

You wasted some money. That shouldn't have costed you 3500. Unless you're including the 2 moniters.

Forgot to mention that they were included in the price. You also gotta include the case, the power supply, the motherboard, and the fans and keyboard and such. I had to buy the mic and webcam as well. :p

Yeah, I didn't notice they were DDR2 until after I bought them... >_>

EDIT: I returned them and got two 1GB GDDR5 video cards instead.

Just got a new computer (I pay for my own things, so I can't afford a 3 grand computer).

    4GB DDR3
AMD phenom II x6 [yes, six cores] Overclocked to 4.0 GHz (Stock 2.8 )
GTX 470 SuperClocked (I'm working, and when I get the money I'll get another and do SLI)
    My CPU is watercooled
Case is a CM Storm Scout
Hard drive is some shitty old one from my last computer
I have Dual moniters set up as well (1 24" and 1 20")

Thumbs up Re: Best pc - who thinks they got a beast?

i got an asus G60JX.4gb of ram, 500gb harddrive, intelcore i5 2.23ghz but can be safely overclocked at the touch of a button to 2.53 ghz, nvidia GTS 360m with 1gb of video memory. not a huge beast like some of the others that are over kill but it is definatly enough to handle anything i throw at it
