Yea this one is very simple, all this one has is the doom logo render, person/monster render, a gradient and a simple C4D blended for the BG. I can upload my PSD if any one wants to take a look at my layers.......

i like that you start out simple not trying to outdo yourself,
keep working at it and try out some things you see in LRO psd's or tuts :]

work on compo, yo have 2 focal points my eyes keep going from render to logo.
