I tried and I couldn't find different pointers. Maybe it can be done. If you can do it, then please, go ahead. You are obviously much better at porting codes than me (which isn't surprising as I only have a couple of weeks of experience!)

i have an idea why dont they just get the very first knife code that works perfectly find thats only one line and port that....only u have the lag tho...but stilll port that one and ur fine....if i can find an eu dump id do it and the original code
