K. I can now get on the psn store, but where do I get the update?

You cant get it off the psn store. It has to be done with the UMD by pressing triangle for the UMD options, then "update." But you can only get the patch with OFW 6.30. So you can't get the patch with CFW, until something is released to get the patch somehow.

But anyway, this is how sony is trying to get rid of hackers.

I updated to 6.30 from 5.50 gen d3. Im getting the patch now. Im gonna see if I can get online when I downgrade back.

Yeah, just upgrade to 6.30, update, and downgrade again.

Also, download (if you don't already have) psnlover to be able to sign onto PSN.

You won't have the option to "UPDATE" FTB3, unless you're on 6.30.

Btw, this is done through the XMB.
