I figured it out. I used my PSP 1000 with 5.50 GEN D-3. Follow these steps.
This involves upgrading to 6.30. SO, if you have a 3000 or a newer 2000, I am sorry this will not work for you.
****I think only people with GEN have the problem I had. I don't have m33 so I wouldn't know if anyone with m33 would have my problem :P
So basically, this is for people with my problem (the "update" option not showing up on options menu)
Here goes:
1) Get the 6.30 updater. But before you update, trigger pandora by holding L and plugging in the battery.
2) Intall OFW 5.(whatever you had). Make sure you have the EBOOT on the root.
3) After that is finished, make sure you have the 6.30 EBOOT in an UPDATE folder in GAME. Run the updater.
4) After that is finished, put the FTB3 UMD in the drive. Scroll to it, then press triangle. A menu will pop up, and press "update." It will install the patch to the UMD.
5) After that is finished, its time to reinstall CFW. Trigger pandora again, and now you can go straight to your CFW (whichever was on your root)
6) Once that is reinstalled, reinstall PSNabler. You need to get back into the PSN store. You will need to sign back in to PSN on your PSP, also. You can do this by going to "sign up", then "sign in using an existing account." Sign back in.
7) Now you are finshed. You can get back online with your PSP with CFW.
You can also UMD dump your newly patched UMD to play the ISO of the patched UMD.
PLEASE NOTE: The codes for the original patch WILL NOT work for the 1.1 patch. So don't try it.
I hope I helped you guys. Rep + :D
